Oooooga! Ooooooga! Dive! Dive! Dive!

Here Madison spots the torpedo on the bottom of the shallow end of the pool.

To get extra depth she had to learn to kick her hind feet out of the water. The labrador retriever has two layers of fur, with the inner layer helping insulate them in water, and providing floatation. The legs waving in the air helped offset this floatation.

Here she is surfacing after a successful retrieve. She did this over and over. So much so that the next day her "rudder" (tail) was so sore that she could not wag it, and she would yelp if you touched it.

Here she is diving for a tennis ball, from a swimming start.

Nose-on, up close and personal.

Got it.
